FLEETDOWN UTD Came to swanmead without a point on the board yet,So this was going to be no push over as with any team trying to register it's first win of the season.
With Brad Moon still suspended,James Ashenden injured,Stuart Pyne still to feature. The squad has produced some entertaining football.
Fleet came out of the blocks fast and worked hard to catch us out early,But with good solid defending and Simon Dunk doing a solid captains job we started to put pressure on Fleet ,Steve Mandaluff and Carl Cornell started to boss the midfield with clever inter play and good movement we started to find gaps and it wasn't long before we tested the keeper shot from Alex Emery parried by the keeper Andy McAllen drove inĀ goal no one.
We kept up the pressure and just before half time Lee Cooper made it 2-0.
Second half started with invicta dominating from the off, good penatrating wing play from Aaron Austin and Andy McAllen giving Flleet lots of problems wide and left back Craig Thompson making great overlaping play and delivering quality crosses it wasn't long before Lee Cooper was on the score sheet again 3-0.Fleet now putting up little resistance Lee Cooper wraped up his hatrick and made it 4-0
If we can maintain this type of football and keep the squad happy ! not easy with 22 man squad and everybody wanting to play! we must be patient with this and we will reap the rewards.well done to the 15 today
