Tonbridge Invicta 9 v 1 Borough Green

Invicta returned to winning ways against a spirited Borough Green side at Longmead today. Despite going 1-0 down to an excellent strike after 10 mins, a well worked equaliser from a Stengel throw saw Hermitage net a rare header on 20 mins. Despite spuring further opportunties in the first period, centre half Nicholls showed the way with a fine strike from 18 yards on the stroke of half time. The second period continued with Invicta dominant and both Jack Edmeads and Tom Willers scored close range hat tricks. Thompson finshed the scoring when he finally found his shooting range to rifle a shot in the top left hand corner. An impressive all round performance with wingers Teddy and Jamie Mason influential throughout.
