Ex Blues 1 v 0 Tonbridge Invicta - U18 Kent Cup

Invicta have no complaints as they were knocked out of the U18 Kent Youth Cup against by a more determined and better team on the day. The winnning goal came with 15 minutes left on the clock and despite a couple of half chances it proved sufficient for the home side. The frustration of the day was summed up when Matt Thompson was sent off for his second bookable offence with 5 mins left. With a grade 4 referee assigned to the game the quality of his communication between the players and his decision making left much for improvement. Well done and all the best to Ex Blues in the next round. Invicta will be looking to put the result and performance behind them as they entertain Larkfield Boys at home next week.
