Invicta suffered their first defeat of the season at Redhill on Sunday, yet the scoreline flattered their hosts. In an evenly contested game Invicta went in 1-0 at half time after a mistake by Barnett let in Stamp for his first. The second period saw Invicta play the better football with the introduction of Josh Poore and 3 excellent saves from keeper Steven Crawley denied Invicta a deserved equaliser.

Two goals in the last 5 minutes gave Chris Stamp his hat trick and Invicta a lesson in finishing. Invicta’s man of the match went to Jamie Mason with Mozza Holmes giving an excellent display in left midfield.
