Tonbridge Invicta 2 Hamsey Rangers 3
Date: 17th October 2004
Invicta suffered their first defeat of the
season to Hamsey Rangers who on the day were the better
team and deserved the victory.
3-1 down at half time Invicta
pulled a goal back mid way through the second period
but a combination of good
goalkeeping and a solid defence enabled Hamsey to hold
firm and secured the result with 5 minutes left.
The Invicta
scorers were Chris Hermitage and Tom Willers netting
their 6th and 7th goals of the season respectively.
Man
of the match was Ed Taylor whose determination fight
and effort throughout the game shone out amongst his
team mates on the day. Ed’s continued improvement
is clearly evident and may it continue.
