| Whyteleafe 2 - Tonbridge Invicta A 2 |
|
Invicta changed their game plan for this match and secured a deserved draw that probably would have been a win, were it not for a poor offside decision that was clearly flagged but ignored by the referee. Whyteleafe started strongly but pressure from the defence and midfield began to give Invicta the advantage. Fletcher opened the scoring with a good shot from the edge of the box midway through the half. Whyteleafe equalised on 30 minutes with a header close in, but Invicta raised their game and were awarded a free kick just outside the box which Deadman buried in the back of the net for 1-2. The second half saw Invicta control play closing down the strong running Whyteleafe forwards and creating good chances of their own before a late Whyteleafe goal levelled the match. |

The second half saw Invicta lose concentration and South Bank ran in 3 easy chances to make 1-4.
