On a rain soaked pitch, both teams had the ambition and desire to win the game, Tonbridge Invicta Hurricanes took two well worked chances to be 2 - 0 up at half time. As expected Chipstead came out full of fire and pulled one back, before the Hurricanes went 3 - 1 up. After some intense pressure Chipsted again reduced the arrears to 3 - 2 and could have salvaged a point late in the game from the penalty spot, but the kick was saved by the goal keeper and the defense held firm till the final whistle.
