Old Coulsdon Jets 0 - 2 Tonbridge Invicta Spitfires
Date: 4th December 2005
Invicta returned to winning ways with a solid performance on Sunday morning on a very undulating pitch.
The first period was fairly evenly matched but Invicta took the lead just before the interval when Sam Carpenter drove forward from midfield and threaded a great pass to Matt Shipley who expertly tucked the ball away. To their credit Coulsdon keep going in the second half and created a couple of chances but George Marling was having a solid game in defence and Joel Scott was his normal reliable brave self in goal. Late on Ben Skinner broke away down the left flank and his powerful effort was too much for the Coulsdon keeper and that was game over. A good all round performance with man of the match William Hinton outstanding in midfield with an all action display.
