The attack of the Invicta!

In todays match Invicta started well with Billy Daus coming close to scoring and setting up Joshua who was unlucky not to be able to convert the chance.

From a corner Elmstead scored 10 minutes before the break, where our defence failed to pick up the short corner and at least one defender was hugging the goalpost ! But William Gaby got one back for Invicta, before half time, by taking it round the goalkeeper.

In the second half, Elmstead nearly scored but the ball did not totally cross the line. After that, Tom Moore scored from a rebounding shot to make the score 2-1 to Invicta. Tom, meanwhile, almost made it 3-1 but his shot also just failed to cross the line!

Shortly afterwards, Joshua Wixen scored a very well deserved goal as he took on the Elmstead defence. Invicta then kept on trying to get a 4th goal until the very end.

Well done everyone today especially Brady. Superb at training on Friday and at the match.
