A fine match in the Shield cup with all the Invicta players doing really well today against a team from several leagues higher.

Invicta were unlucky to be 1 goal down at half time, as everyone on the pitch was giving it 100% and listening to the coaching advice. To hold our own for so long was a great achievement and we were only 1 minute short of getting to half time being level.

As the second half continued Invicta ran out of steam through sheer exhaustion, which showed just how hard everyone was trying today.

Well played everyone today.....man of the match goes to Tom for playing out of position and defending really well. Special mention to Brady for an excellent display in goal.......really well done Brady .......great teamwork and attitude.
